I purchased this case because it is checkpoint friendly so I can leave the Macbook Pro in the case when I go through security. The neoprene cushions and prevents scratches and also gives a good grip to lessen the chance of dropping the computer. The case is machine washable and the dot design is just different enough to be quickly recognizable when getting through airport security checkpoints. Black cases all look the same so I wanted a brighter design so that if someone grabbed it at the other end of the x-ray belt it would be easy to spot.
The neoprene fabric is sturdy and seems like it will last a long while. The backside of the neoprene fabric is backed with a soft knit. The zipper is extra heavy duty. This is a “sleeve” for carrying the notebook inside a larger tote or backpack. There is no handle or shoulder strap. The fit is PERFECT for the new 15.4″ unibody Macbook Pro. The designs are so interesting you will want more than one.
